This company seemed to be deliberately trying to make things worse so they could sell their services. I called them to fix clogged pipes, and they quoted me $14,000. I reluctantly paid because I wanted a final resolution. They dug up several parts of my property because they couldn’t pinpoint the problem area. Even after what seemed like a successful fix, the same issue reappeared just a week later. But no worries, they offered to fix everything for $30,000. Why would I pay $30,000 when the original problem wasn’t even fixed in the first place? I reached out to another company, and they resolved the issue for a third of the cost and on the first try. To make matters worse, I tried to get a partial refund, but they avoided my calls like the plague. Finally, I drove to their offices, but they refused any wrong doing. All that money down the drain. I strongly advise against using this company.

We chose Becht Givens Service Experts for a water heater repair because they have provided us really good, reliable HVAC service for over 20 years. Our 7 year old heater was leaking and grew worse by the hour. Evan, our plumber, arrived the next day, assessed the unit, and installed local shut off valves so we could at least get cold water. He reviewed replacements, costs and finance options with us without pressure. He recommended their lease program, the Advantage Plan, which we already used for HVAC. He immediately set it up, ordered the system and scheduled the installation for the next morning. Evan and Dakota, his apprentice, arrived promptly the next morning to install it. We could not have hoped for better service. They were both friendly, careful, respectful of our home and totally professional. Even our dog loved them. They explained everything they were doing, the operation and safety systems, and cleaned up carefully afterward. We are most appreciative and highly recommend them.

Evan and Dakotah and Cameron were at our house ALL day fixing 100 year old pipe problem. Cleaned up after jackhammering and digging. So nice and kind all day!

Can I give 0 stars? We had a visit today after our A/C went out a couple days ago. The technician said he couldn't even diagnose the problem without an expensive fix, and that the parts wouldn't be covered by our warranty. He's claiming it was lightning and would've been prevented by a surge protector - and that hasn't been suggested to us in 10 years. We were quoted 5 figures to replace our entire HVAC.
Edit: I received an email that our issue was due to a "Bad board. Showing ground issues after power outage. Left pricing for board and system. Other parts can be bad but cannot further diagnose without board". The issues started *before* a brief and recent power outage. Keyword is *before*, and we were clear about that with the technician.
We've been customers for 10 years - our warranty should still be in place, and we have a signed maintenance agreement that was supposed to maintain our warranty. They're claiming the agreement was discontinued, but we still paid for their service agreement for 10 years. We were never told.
I'm not sure if ownership changed or what, but I would NEVER work with this company again. The tech was too busy selling us on financing and a new plan to actually help us, and charged us $84 for the visit (a whole $15 off due to our maintenance agreement - yay!). We were not warned about this charge when we scheduled the visit.

John and Ben were very knowledgeable and respectful. They took the time to explain what had failed in detail. Looked up the warranty on our system and even talk to our security system provider ensuring everything worked together correctly. These service experts were great. Highly recommend!
Side note.....insurance covered the repair in full. I am unsure of the cost.
