I got my car back today and I’m super happy! Service was fast and friendly. I had friends tell me about this place when I was trying to find a body shop. My car was clean and smiling at me when I pulled in the lot to get it back! Thank you all so much

I brought a somewhat difficult job to Kahl's, and they finished the job with flying colors. I have included some pictures below. I placed a high performance engine inside an otherwise mundane 1994 Mustang GT. I installed a Holley Sniper EFI system with a new intake that led to the engine "growing" up into the Cervini fiberglass hood. I did most of the fiberglass work to install a "bump" on the hood using an upside down Amazon stainless steel soap dish. I turned the project to Kahl's. They did a PERFECT paint match and quite a bit of clean up work on the Amazon soap dish hood bump. Everyone complements their work. Kudos to Jason for the time and effort to complete this project. I will not hesitate to use them again.

Bambi's revenge. Well, what do you when you smoke Bambi at 60mph? Air bag censors, bumper, light, fender and who knows what else little stuff in the front. ONLY negative. Slow shipping and delivery of parts, not Kahl's fault. So the completion time took just over a month. NOTE, with the 24-48 hours prior to hitting Bambi, there were hundreds of claims due to a hail storm in front of me. Satisfaction: looks great, inside and out! They even detailed the cab for me (wasn't expecting that). Family owned and operated, staff was always polite and professional! I haven't needed a body shop in over 20 years. However, I would definitely use Kahls without question again. 5 stars all day long!

Despite Kahl’s getting me a brand new bumper after getting hit, my experience was less than smooth during the two weeks, and communication was entirely one-sided. I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon and was told it should be ready by the following Friday, if there were any delays they’d let me know. So I made arrangements in the form of taking a week off work. Come that following Friday, I hadn’t heard anything so I reached out around 3. They stated they had to order the bumper and it just got in that day, and they haven’t even taken my old bumper off, so we were looking at the following Tuesday for completion. I understood and it made sense...I just wish they would have told me they had to order the bumper from Honda and that it would be delayed. I figured that at least by Wednesday you’d have given me a call to say what was going on. So I wasted a week off work, and so I cancelled my weekend plans as well and just sat at home and arranged for Monday and Tuesday transportation, so that I could get my car that afternoon after work. Come Tuesday I still didn’t hear that it was ready so I called first during Lunch and Gwen had stated she would call me back because the guy working on my car was at Lunch. Come 4:00 and I’m leaving work; I never got a call back from her so I called to ask if she had spoken to him. She apparently hadn’t, as she had to ask. They then told her to tell me Thursday would be when it would be ready. At this point I’m starting to get irritated because I’m the one having to ask about progress and not once have they reached out to me for any delays like they said they would. And then Gwen told me if there was any delays they’d give me a call. I was skeptical but I told her thank you and I’d look forward to hearing from them Thursday. One again I arranged for last-minute transportation for Wednesday and Thursday. Then repeat Tuesday on Thursday. No calls that it’s ready, so I call at Lunch, get told he’s on lunch and that I’d get a call back with a status update. I don’t get a call back. I get off work and make another call and mention I never got a call back and they tell Gwen to tell me Friday would be when it’s ready, they swore on it, and they’d call me to let me know. I make a final last-minute arrangement for transportation for Friday and I’m really frustrated at this point, I just want my car back at this point. Paint it, prime it, coat it, and I’ll take it home and let it dry and put it on myself. Friday comes, I get off work early and have my ride take me around for a late lunch in the rain. I hadn’t heard anything so I call and they swear it’ll be ready by 4. We go sit in their lot for about 45 minutes. A little after 5 they bring my car out. I wait a few minutes to see if they’re gonna call me. They do not. I go inside and pick up my car. I get the car home, and the estimate I was given prior and I guess what they negotiated with insurance was WAY different and nobody discussed that with me during this process on either end. There are still scratches on my trunk that they originally quoted to get fixed but didn’t fix. They’re still around my Honda emblem and they’re pretty noticeable, they weren’t just minor paint chips or flakes, those are embedded into my trunk lid scratches. When I spoke to insurance they said they hadn’t denied or rejected the trunk fix, but after hassling with them for 2 weeks over my car not being ready on multiple deadline dates, I told insurance I’d just take what I could get. I had heard many great things about Kahl’s which is why I picked them for this insurance claim. While everyone I interacted with from start to finish was friendly, that does not make up for the MAJOR lack of communication surrounding the job, and then the trunk damage that was ignored. I guess I should be grateful the hole in my bumper is gone and I no longer have to look at it, but I dunno. In the end, this experience really rubbed me the wrong way. I will be hesitant to use Kahl’s in the future.

We just got my Dodge Durango back after having Kahl's paint and assemble a new front end for it, and we are 100% satisfied. We have used another place in the past that left us with a car that has mismatched paint, drips, dust particles, etc., but not Kahl's. The paint job they did looks fabulous and like it's straight off the showroom floor. You can't even tell a difference between the newly painted pieces and the old. I will without hesitation recommend anyone use them, and we will be bringing other vehicles here in the future. It did take a bit longer than expected to be completed, but it was worth the wait to get this quality of work.
