This was such a great stop. I sat at the bar and just relaxed. With music in the back ground sipping their homemade Sangria was great. I order the meat Molcajete. This thing was huge. And I mean grande! Came with rica and beans. Also a lot of tortillas. Favors great and so much I think 3 people could eat off it. I saw the fajita came out for another customer and it was piled with meat and veg. Get a chance stop and enjoy the great service and amazing food! I have enough left over for 2 people!

Great service and wonderful atmosphere. Very neat place and delicious food! They also have a kid's menu and they have a lot of delicious choices to choose from. Highly recommended! We love the Ambience. Their chips and salsa are amazing and the main meals were all delicious! We enjoyed our dinner! Great place for family and friends gathering. They also have a wide free parking lot. We love the burrito and the birria tacos! Amazing place you need to visit and try their food!

Title: A Culinary Fiesta at El Rayo: A Mexican Delight!
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Rayo, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to the vibrant streets of Mexico, with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's authentic decor, lively music, and friendly staff set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
Let's talk about the star of the show - the food! The menu at El Rayo is a true celebration of Mexican cuisine, offering a wide range of traditional dishes bursting with flavors and colors. Each bite was a symphony of taste, showcasing the chef's dedication to using fresh ingredients and authentic recipes.
To start, I highly recommend the guacamole, prepared tableside with perfectly ripe avocados, tangy lime juice, and a hint of spice. It was the ideal balance of creamy and zesty, paired with crispy tortilla chips that were impossible to resist. The salsa trio was equally impressive, with each salsa boasting its own unique blend of flavors, from smoky to fiery.
Moving on to the main course, the selection was extensive and catered to all tastes. I opted for the sizzling fajitas, and they did not disappoint. The tender strips of marinated meat, accompanied by sautéed peppers and onions, arrived at the table with a tantalizing aroma. The portion size was generous, and the meat was perfectly seasoned, making every bite a burst of savory goodness. The homemade tortillas were a revelation, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the dish.
For dessert, I indulged in the churros, and they were simply divine. Crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside, these cinnamon-dusted delights were served with a rich chocolate dipping sauce that was pure decadence. It was the perfect ending to an already exceptional meal.
The service at El Rayo was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their cuisine. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of.
In conclusion, El Rayo is a Mexican restaurant that truly stands out from the crowd. With its authentic ambiance, mouthwatering dishes, and exceptional service, it is a culinary gem that should not be missed. Whether you're a Mexican food aficionado or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant will exceed your expectations. I cannot wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu. ¡Viva México! Oh and I even found a pearl!!

We walked in and the music was almost unbearably loud, especially for us being one of about 4 tables dining. The chips and salsa were great, the beans and rice were also good. We split the Majarro Special and all of the seafood was overcooked. The fish was overfried and dry; the shrimp was tough. The margarita was very sweet which was ok. The waitress was great but I don't think we will be returning. I would've said something while I was there but the music was so loud I just wanted to leave.

The salsa chips was awesome. We had fajitas. Which was okay. There was several options for seafood. They didn’t have any tapped beer 🍺 only bottles.
